Alginate
Alginate, a natural derivative from various species of brown algae, offers a combination of unique properties that make it an essential ingredient for a wide range of applications in the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.
At Gelymar, we are proud to use brown algae that grows on the pristine coasts of southern Chile. These algae are processed fresh at our industrial sites, ensuring maximum functionality and superior quality of our products.
Thanks to its versatility, alginate is used to thicken, stabilize, gel, and form films, meeting the demanding requirements of various applications and markets.
